2016 Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson, vice presidential nominee Bill Weld, and two other Libertarians will appear on the ballot in the District of Columbia this November, as there were no challenges to their petitions as of 5 pm ET Monday, August 22.
Also running on the Libertarian ticket in D.C. are Martin Moulton for Delegate to the US House of Representatives, and Matt Klokel, running for an at-large seat on the city council.
To become a recognized party in D.C. for the next two years, any of the above candidates must get at least 7,500 votes in the general election.
Johnson and Weld are now also on the ballot in Pennsylvania. In addition, the LPPA will have candidates for US Senate, Auditor General, State Treasurer, two US House seats, and four races in the state House of Representatives.
